i've never been very good at these things. they've always made me uncomfortable, talking about myself. more discomforting is hearing someone else talking about me. so i'm at a loss.
i guess i'm an artist. i paint, and i draw, and i sketch and sew and bead and crochet. i enjoy putting things together that way.
my basis for painting something, for a while, was how much i could profit from it. that has since changed drastically, and now my basis for painting something is whether or not it's something i would like to look at. it's a personal reason for creation, and if others benefit from it, all the better.
my basis for creating the other stuff is a mixture of the two. yes, i will only create things that i would enjoy wearing or having. but a living must also be made, in light of the hours being cut at my day job.
